Many people struggle to stay hydrated because they forget to drink water or find tracking apps overwhelming. The goal was to design an app that encourages daily engagement, is easy to use, and provides motivating feedback.

I was responsible for designing the end-to-end user experience, including user flows, wireframes, visual design, and interaction patterns that support habit formation.

Research focused on understanding common barriers to consistent water intake and evaluating existing habit-tracking apps for usability.

  • Users need minimal effort to log water intake

  • Visual progress motivates continued engagement

  • Simple and friendly interface increases habit adoption

  • Large, accessible action button for quick logging

  • Visual progress bar to motivate users

  • Minimalist design to avoid distractions

  • Friendly microcopy to encourage daily use

  • Optional: subtle notifications/reminders

The final design delivered a fast, intuitive, and motivating water tracking experience. Users can log water in one tap, see progress visually, and stay engaged with daily goals.

Future iterations could include personalization based on user habits, smart reminders, and lightweight analytics to track long-term behavior changes.
